BERLIN - SEHR GUT, JA!

Well word up all y'all - how the hell ya been? First off, obligatory apoligies for length between posts. Man - this new gig I got is for realz. They be sending me all around. This week I have been to Watford, Milton Keynes, Hammersmith (aka Glamoursmith!) and Newcastle. Of course the Newcastle - blows them all ho' way, like. In fact, i am blogging on a train back to Norf London right now. There is an old woman next to me in 8 layers of brit clothes - she still has gloves on - its april - i am in a t shirt - and she is asleep. Anyhoo.

A wee while ago me and T-Bone and another bloke named Big Willy Strollz went to Berlin for a dudes weekend of booze and mayham. We were not disappointed. NICHT DISAPOINTISCH.

We arrived late Friday night and boogied to the hostel in east Berlin to drop of our stuff then we went out. We did not know much other than the center of town was thata way. So we went thata way. After a few beers we found ourselves in an odd place called 'Palm Springs' that had real sand on the floor. DAS SAND IST ON DAS FLOORGABBEN.

After a few Tequila shots - the place is dead and we needz to move on. MOVED DAS ON.
We walked back to the hostel on the way we were stopped by a pack of young spanish girls - who asked us if we knew where the 'high disco' was. WO IST DAS HIGH DISKO?

Sadly, we did not know. So we moved on. On the way back we saw what looked like Goth Death Metal hang out. In the window a woman was dancing (not that kind) then was joined my a male dancer who mock murdered her. At this point we decided to go in.

It was crazy. Like an old haunted house full of goth german kids getting their dance on. I got my dance on a wee bit and had another beer. DISKO DANZEN MIT DEM BEIRE.

When we got back there were a load of young German girls in the lobby waiting to be met by their guys. Absolutely scheisse faced we decide we need another beer and get our chat on. There guys show up and are not impressed with us to say the least. DAS IST NICHT IMPREZZTISCH.

We woke up the next day to find toothpaste inexplicably all over many things. We then went walking and saw all the sights: Brandenburg Gate, Berlin wall, Checkpoint Charlie, etc.

That night we went out for a real authentic German meal. I ordered the local speciality - the Berliner Schnitzel (fried cow's udder). DAS WAS NICHT GUT. T Bone got the braised pork knuckle which was awesome.

We then hit East Berlin up for some bars and drinks. We got what we came for. We noticed that there were no groups of just girls out. Big groups of guys and girls. Or just small groups of guys who drank massive jugs of cocktails and chain smoked Marlboro Reds. DAS IST EINE OBSERVATZION.
